The Farquharson's

Cameron was born and raised in Scotland playing rugby and Gamekeeping  before moving down to Dorset over 26 years ago where he met his wife Miranda.

Cameron helped out on her family's Dairy farm whilst training as a professional chef.

Now a 3 rosette awarded chef, he is known for his amazing culinary skills, and  has worked in some of the finest kitchens in Dorset as well as time spent abroad as a chef.

Cameron, Miranda & their 4 grown up children, farm a mixture of native cattle including the highland cows as well as a flock of 300 commercial ewes. And we can't forget the 4 horses (which Camm isn't too keen on) and 20 rescue hens for eggs.

Our Campaign

Since 2021 with the death of Gladis (One of his hairy coo's). Cameron has worked constantly in trying to get a law through UK Parliament which means you cannot walk a dog through a field of livestock unless the dog(s) are on lead.

One of the families young & friendly  highland cows was tragically killed whilst heavily pregnant, after being chased across the iron age hillfort they live on. Gladis was chased by dogs over a steep rampart falling & breaking her neck, killing her and her unborn calf that was weeks away from being born.

This isn't the first attack as a family farm we've had, we often loose sheep usually pregnant by dogs chasing them and ether pulling them and ripping them apart or chasing them so much, giving them a stock resulting in death a few hours later.

This happens to farmers all across the UK and Camm is trying to change the law so that people receive bigger fines for this crime as well as raising awareness of how common this is and how it can have huge detrimental effects on farms and their families.

Cameron's audience to date stands at over 30 million viewers.
